This isn't your typical book club. It's better. Because the AUTHOR actually shows up.

Here's how it works: We choose a powerful book, you read it (or don't—more on that in a sec), and then we gather for a live discussion with the person who wrote it. You get to ask questions, hear the backstory behind the pages, and dive deeper into the concepts that resonated with you.

Read the book? Amazing. Come ready with your insights, highlights, and questions for a rich discussion.

Didn't read the book? No problem. Come learn about it directly from the author. You'll walk away with the key concepts and a front-row seat to a conversation you won't find anywhere else.

This is for women who love learning, crave real conversations, and want access to authors and their wisdom without the pressure of a traditional book club. No quizzes. No mandatory reading. Just meaningful discussion with the person who wrote the words.

Book Club (But Better) = Real authors. Real conversations. Real insight. Optional reading.

A note from our author...

Sometimes advocating for youth sports or digital wellness feels indulgent when the world is hurting. Maybe you're tired of parenting advice that assumes you're calm, rested, and have a perfectly balanced home. Maybe you're just worn down from trying to do the right thing—for your kids, your athletes, your students—and still feeling like you're falling short.

Here’s what I’ve learned: the problem isn’t that you’re not trying hard enough. The problem is that we’ve been handed broken systems—on the field, online, and in our homes—and told to make them work without support, clarity, or compassion.

That’s why I wrote Beyond the Sidelines. That’s why I created Beyond the Grind. These aren’t just projects—they’re lifelines. They’re about reclaiming joy, setting boundaries, and showing up with intention in spaces that often feel chaotic or performative.

I’m so excited to join Mari for a conversation that goes deeper than tips and tricks. I hope you’ll join us live so we can speak directly to your reality. Because this isn’t just about parenting, coaching, or teaching—it’s about finally feeling like you’re not alone in the mess. - Tessa
